2) excellet or complete beyond practical or theoretical improvement

3) to bring nearer to perfection; improve

Perfect is boring. Life is not always going to be perfect...if it were, I don't think we'd ever get to appreciate it when things are going just right. On the cover of every magazine is an advertisment for something like how to become a billionaire, how to have it all, or how to make your life so much better than what you already have. Even when you already have so much, while there are other people living in much worse circumstances. I think the main problem with this world is that nobody helps each other. Instead, they create impossible images in their heads of how things should be, instead of appreciating what they do have. The truth is...perfect is hard. And it doesn't prepare you for disappointment. What has our world become? I don't know. Maybe life isn't about having everything be perfect. Maybe it's about looking on the brighter side of things, learning to love the little things. And pushing through the darker sides of life ~ giving your all, doing your best not to cave into "the pressure to be perfect".
